To be honest – I hated this record at first, second and even third listen. But I kept trying – partly due to the great reviews, and partly due to my buddy Jeppe’s constant preaching about its qualities.

I got this one through Anderz Nielsen. He sold many a strange record to me in the late 1980’s. I might still owe him 150 DKK.
Weird Finnish hardcore.
Fun fact: I always saw the thing on the cover as a rising submarine. But just now, I realize it’s a meat cleaver in attack position. Silly me.

Sätkynukke/Kumikristus – Split Lp 1988
I haven’t listened to this lp in ages. But it’s a great reminder of how great Finnish hardcore is. This is classic stuff, reminds me a bit of old Terveet Kädet.

I first heard Negazione on a punk/hc compilation tape my crusty friend Allan bought from a punk on a train. I quite like the energy and ferocity of the recordings on this lp. The vox are on the verge of annoying at times.

Blood Money – Red Raw And Bleeding
I can’t say I remember why I bought this… Me and Kenneth (my friend and fellow musicfreak through 30 years) had a thing for this lp heap many years ago… I recall something about a cool guitar solo or somesuch. Listening to it right now doesn’t make the famous bell ring.

Stina Nordenstam – People Are Strange 12″
The only reason I have this, is a massive Techno Animal flip I had some years ago. This 12″ is featuring a TA remix of Swedish singer Stina Nordenstam singing the Doors’ People Are Strange as well as an UNKLE remix of said song.
I’m not impressed… The TA side is ok, but the UNKLE remix sucks.
