Ye Gods how I love this classic 7″ of Suomi Finland Hardcore. The titel track is in my top 10 for ever. The guitar solo is over the top!! I got this when it was released in 1988. Suomi hardcore FOREVER!!!

Converge – All We Love We Leave Behind

To be honest – I hated this record at first, second and even third listen. But I kept trying – partly due to the great reviews, and partly due to my buddy Jeppe’s constant preaching about its qualities.

And at fourth listen it clicked.
This is a beautiful 2×12″ in red vinyl. I give you all its splendour.

Intense Degree – War In My Head

I was introduced to Intense Degree via the fantastic Hardcore Holocaust – The Peel Sessions compilation. I remember looking forward to hearing a full length from ID. This lp is a fine example of UKHC in the 1980’s. I’m not aware of Intense Degree getting anything near the recognition they should have, go listen whereever you can!

Sätkynukke/Kumikristus – Split Lp 1988

20130426-122656.jpgI haven’t listened to this lp in ages. But it’s a great reminder of how great Finnish hardcore is. This is classic stuff, reminds me a bit of old Terveet Kädet.
