Energumeno is a band where two of my oldest friends in the wonderful world of noise play, Javi and Manolo are the guys who run R.O.N.F. Records which was the first label to release Kusari Gama Kill many years ago. Still if they weren’t my friends, I’d love their side of the split. Tight noisy noisecore as I like it!
Side B: Hades Mining Co. – Mass Dysentery Insurgency / Anarchy In Your Anal Hole + Sting Like A Butterfly, Fly Like A Bee.
HMC plays a more sloppy noisecore than Energumeno, but not less enjoyable. Loads of references here (or so I think) to all sorts of music. Style wise we’re more in Seven Minutes of Nausea-country. Good fun!
All in all a great 7″ that’s worth buying.
Sedem Minút Strachu – General Fucking (2017)
This is a record you want, if you are at all into noisy stuff. Sedem Minút Strachu – or Seven Minutes of Fear – is the shit for me these days.
This 12″ will no doubt be a classic of the genre.

Final Exit – Another (S)hits Of Old Vinyls (cd 2014)
It’s all about Final Exit these days. I just got this cd in the mail today, 12 tracks of the Final Exit bits of various split releases. Very catchy and intense stuff here. Sound is brutal, and the playing too. And I mustn’t forget to mention the one minute long feedback that opens the cd. Goddammit I hate high notes, but here it has it’s place. Of the recordings here, I only knew the split with Gonkulator previously.
Super funny fast and noisy stuff here. Go get this baby! Yeah!

This is one of the best things that happened record wise last year. It’s just a 7″ record – single sided even, but crammed full of western themed noise and groovy country.
Final Exit are a great Japanese band, and after stumbling over this on my facebook stream, I have hunted down some other goodies from them. This record is released on The Child With No Name and Fat Ass Records. I can only urge you to visit both labels’ sites, as there are multiple goodies there!

Kazumoto Endo/Penis Geyser – Split
Well well well… Some sick shite going on here. Kazumoto Endo delivers a harshish noise track, and does a very good job of it. Penis Geyser is a noisegrind band from Ohio, that has released some excellent split 7″s during the last 5 years.
I like both artists a lot, and was stoked at the news of them doing a split, I like splits with bands of different genres. I haven’t been able to track down a video featuring this particular release, so here are some other stuff from these madmen.

A plethora of blast beats, screams and weird samples…
If you’re into truly demented chaotic shit, with a cruel production, feedback and drill noise, then this is for you.
This kind of noise is what I have always wanted to make. Fuck it, I can’t think of anything to say to convey my deep love for this kind of grind.

Sete Star Sept/Lotus Fucker – Supplication/Destroy All Music Now
This is a record I have been having dirty thoughts about since I heard of it. Unfortunately it was sold only on the Sete Star Sept 2014 North American tour, (comes with tour poster), and I am kinda living in Denmark, with no funds for going to a noisecore show on another continent.
Luckily my good friend Josh of Limbs Bin had the privilege of being the opening act for Sete Star Sept and Lotus Fucker in NYC, and he was kind enough to purchase this marvelous split for me. And slap my ass and call me Charlie if obtaining this isn’t well worth the trouble. Both bands deliver top work. An interesting detail is that 7S7 emulate Lotus Fucker’s hardcore, and Lotus Fucker in turn emulate the trademark 7S7 noisegrind. Also they have swapped artwork style.
I’m too stoked to write more, I’ll have yet another listen instead.

I have a huge love for 7S7. And especially Gero Me. But I never got around to buy it. I know I’m going to at some point, but for now, I have to make do with the digital version. Bus as I’m deeply addicted to it, I thought I’d make a new sub-blog about records I’d like to own.
This is an intense motherfucker of a record. Short spastic noisy songs, all in Sete Star Sept’s trademark bass/drum/vocal-assault style. It was the first thing I ever heard from them, and that listen spawned an expensive habit of collecting their records, no easy task! Discogs currently have 70(!) releases listed, and I have 13 of these… I have had a little communication with the band about a possible split with my own band, but they politely declined. I haven’t given up hope yet though. They have been a huge revitalizing factor in the shaping of the sound of my band, especially the songs on Gero Me and Visceral Tavern (discussed elsewhere on this blog).
